Absolwent Akademii Sztuk Pięknych

Academy of Fine Arts Graduate

I come from a town in the Eastern part of Poland and I started drawing when I was six years old in the kindergarten. Later, I graduated from Academy of Arts and I could have worked as an art teacher, but since teaching is not a well-paid job in Poland, I moved to Krakow and started to work as a waiter. I like Krakow because it has some kind of magic, it used to be the country's capital so you can feel the royal atmosphere. One day I saw a man who was drawing in the street. The guy had a big beard and a big smartphone. I was impressed - a man, working on a street with a smartphone like the one I had never had. I started to think about how much I could earn and how much I could be free by doing that. So, I quit my job and here I am. Six years of studying art, a diploma later and you end up in the street. People inspire me. Kids mostly, they are amazing. Once, a little kid came up to me and I asked him about his dreams. He was dreaming about being a farmer and having pigs. Therefore, I drew him as a farmer with pigs. By the way, if you want to meet the guy with the beard and the smartphone, he is still there around Floriańska Street. We have a different style of drawing, it is worth to see his works. You should meet him.
